Sumanth Krishnamurthy (Business Planning, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Team Building)

Sumanth C. Krishnamurthy is the Managing Director and CEO of Grow Fast Grow Right India ( GFGR India ).  GFGR India is focused on providing Corporate On-Site Training, Executive Education and Growth Leadership, Co-Branded, Private Label and Special Events, Strategic Consulting Services.  GFGR India is also going to focus on instilling the sense of Entrepreneurship beyond the cities and into the masses of India through partnership with schools, universities and community-based organizations. 

Sumanth also acquired GDS in 2004, which was founded in 1991 as an Engineering consulting company, secured the 8(a) SDB Federal Status restructured the business offering to focus on Application / Portal Development, Service Oriented Architecture ( SOA ), Business Intelligence, Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security.  The core strength behind GDS is to build applications Better, Faster and Cheaper utilizing the concepts of SEI CMM Level 5 certification.  Sumanth is actively focused on rolling up other small businesses in the Government Contracting domain towards growing GDS into the market leader in it’s domain.  He has developed strategic partnerships with leading software vendors and has built a strong management team and Board of Advisors to help guide the growth.  Some of GDS’s clients include, Department of Justice, Housing and Urban Development, National Institutes of Health, The Department of State, The Federal Trade Commission and more.  With Sumanth’s vision and leadership, GDS is on track to exceed $10 Million in revenues by 2008.  Prior to GDS, Sumanth ran an IT Services company focused on COTS solutions to the Telecommunications Industry.  As a Co-Founder of Advantec Solutions, he was responsible for the aggressive growth of the professional services division.  

Sumanth is a graduate of The University of Maryland, College Park with dual degrees in Accounting and Finance.  Upon graduation, he worked as a Business Development Manager for Frontier Communication and IMI Solutions, the IT division of Olston Staffing, a $3 billion company.  After IMI Systems, he decided to test his entrepreneurial spirit in business.

While at Maryland, he was a scholar athlete and captain of the UMCP Division 1 ACC Tennis Team.  Sumanth was effective in building the first College Agent Program for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company at The University of Maryland.  When he's not focused on business, he spends time on Political / Humanitarian causes as a founding member of US India Political Action Committee ( USINPAC ) and The Committee for Global Relief ( CGR ), a Washington DC based Non-Profit organization.

USINPAC is one of the most successful Political organizations, representing the voice of Indian Americans on the Federal and Local landscape.  Sumanth has been involved with creating effective strategies on lobbying economic / business issues on behalf of the Indian American community.  Sumanth is also integral in designing and implementing successful fund raising programs for USINPAC.

The Committee for Global Relief is a non-partisan, non-political organization formed to provide assistance to victims of natural disasters and social conflicts through the use of collaborative efforts amongst various communities within the American Landscape.  As a founding member of CGR, Sumanth is involved with creating alliances amongst various humanitarian groups, identifying projects that need relief assistance around the world, designing and implementing the Operational infrastructure and a Board of Advisors for CGR and towards the monitoring and evaluation of projects funded by CGR.  CGR was effective in raising $100, 000 for the devastating South Asia Earthquake that struck Pakistan and India.  CGR has also been instrumental in raising funds for the victims of war in Lebanon.  CGR has developed partnerships with The World Bank and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies ( SAIS ), as well as various corporate partnerships in the DC metropolitan area.

Sumanth grew up in the DC metro area and is currently a resident in the Penn Quarter sub-division of DC.
